En el marco de una formación técnica en gestión deportiva, el idioma Inglés, la Lingua franca de los negocios y la ciencia, también se halla presente en bibliografía de interés para el profesional que estamos formando. Por ello, el dominio de técnicas de traducción les proveerá de herramientas para acceder a documentos, escritos científicos y artículos de interés para el desempeño laboral.

Objetivo General
- Adquirir una herramienta que enriquezca su actividad profesional, permitiéndoles acceder a bibliografía selecta.

Objetivos Específicos
Se pretende que los alumnos puedan:
- Identificar tiempos verbales en el idioma inglés.
- Identificar párrafos, extraer ideas principales y comprender el mensaje de un texto en inglés.
- Realizar exitosamente traducciones de textos en inglés.

Unidad 1
PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE
a) Verb to be: Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways. Use. Proffessions. Jobs. This, That, These; Those. Plural of nouns.
b) There is. There are. Countable and uncountable nouns. How much? How many?
c) Modal verbs: can; have. Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways.
d) Present Simple Tense: describing habits. Frequency adverbs. How often? The time. Affirmative, Negative and interrogative ways.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
a) Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways. Describing photographies. Now & at the moment. Present continuous as future.

Unidad 2
PAST SIMPLE
a) Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways. Describing past actions and past habits. “Would+infinitive” and “used to+infinitive”.

PAST CONTINUOUS
a) Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways. Past Simple and Past Continuous. When & While.

Unidad 3
FUTURE SIMPLE
a) Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways. Opinion about the future. Decisions. Predictions.

INMEDIATE FUTURE
a) Affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways. Predictions based on present evidence.

Unidad 4
PRESENT PARTICIPLE AND PAST PARTICIPLE. PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE.
a) Present Perfect Simple: affirmative, Negative and Interrogative ways.
b) Present Perfect adverbs: yet; already, never, ever; still; always. Since and for.
c) Past participle as main verb.
d) Past participle as adjective.
e) Present participle as adjective.
f) Present participle as noun: sports

Unidad 5
PAST SIMPLE PASSIVE VOICE. PAST PERFECT VERSUS PAST SIMPLE.
a) Past simple passive voice structure.
b) Past simple usage: sports. Sports invention.
c) News about sports.

Se propone a los estudiantes la realización de actividades de aprendizaje que procuran establecer una relación entre la teoría y la práctica, ahondando, comparando, reflexionando y aplicando los contenidos vistos en cada unidad. Así mismo se incluyen actividades de envío obligatorio en cada Unidad.

- Para PROMOCIONAR: Presentación en tiempo y forma y Aprobación de todas las tareas de envío obligatorio propuestas para cada Unidad. Las tareas se aprueban con 7 (siete) – En el campus 70/100. Las tareas de envío obligatorio tendrán dos recuperaciones.
- Para REGULARIZAR: Presentación en tiempo y forma y Aprobación de todas las tareas de envío obligatorio propuestas para cada Módulo. Las tareas se aprueban con notas mayores a 4 (cuatro) – En el campus 40/100. Las tareas de envío obligatorio tendrán dos recuperaciones.
- Para APROBAR: Una vez regularizada la asignatura, se accede al examen final, se toma en los turnos de exámenes fijados en el Calendario Académico que anualmente aprueba el Consejo Superior de la UNSL.
